Richmond Rowing Club
About Richmond Rowing Club
The Richmond Rowing Club is one of the oldest rowing clubs in the world (if you want to get specific, it’s the fourth oldest continuing operating club). If you’re keen on becoming an Olympic rower, it’s a great place to go. But we suspect you might be more interested in using the venue for your wedding reception.
Really Good Weddings at Richmond Rowing Club
Why I love shooting at Richmond Rowing Club
You don’t have to drive for hours out to the countryside to get a location with beautiful views. The Richmond Rowing Club boathouse couldn’t be more central; it’s a five minute walk from Flinders Street station, if that! It boasts some of the best views in the city, has great relationships with caterers, and there are both indoor and outdoor areas available.
What kind of unique photos can be shot at Richmond Rowing Club?
The Richmond Rowing Club is a great place to take unique wedding photos (you’ve got the Melbourne skyline and the Yarra right there in the background) but it’s also very close to some of Melbourne’s most beautiful gardens. It’s no hassle to pop over to Queen Victoria Gardens, The Grotto, Kings Domain, or the Royal Botanic Gardens and take your photos at an iconic location.
Are you looking for a photographer for Richmond Rowing Club?
There’s no fancier sport than rowing (except croquet, maybe?) and there’s no better venue than the Richmond Rowing Club. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer to capture special moments at your wedding reception, you’re in the right place.
