Amy & Juan.
Amy & Juan at Richmond Rowing Club, Melbourne Wedding in Spring.
Fending off the unpredictable Melbourne skies, Amy and Juan married at Richmond Rowing Club. A relaxed space that they made alive with bright pops of colour, good food and their amazing family and friends. The venue, whilst unassuming at first, came alive as the skies turned orange and the city lights beckoned the newly weddings. We took off for a 20mins for a wander through town, making the most of the evening glow and strangers that offered their congrats. Amy and Juan have come to call Melbourne their home, and capturing the city vibes and aesthetic was really important for them both. When Amy got in touch, she said, "We are hoping to have a big party mixing our Peruvian and Australian heritages" and that's exactly was unfolded. They framed the day in a way that meant they got maximum quality time with their guests, keeping things simple as the party kicked on. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to capture Amy & Juan's wedding; their joy was evident amidst a grey Melbourne day. This wedding, of course, would not be possible without the craft of those involved:
Celebrant - Zena Lythgo
Food - Paellla Pan
